TREASURE

If you’re walking down the road
Underneath a heavy load
Don’t you worry, there’s a treasure for you here
If you feel you can’t go on
And your heart’s a setting sun
Don’t be troubled, treasure for you here

In your mind you’re waiting for connection
But you can’t see no mansion on the hill
Be careful that you never lose direction
There will always be a candle on the sill

If you wander through the years
And your eyes are full of tears
Don’t you worry, there’s a treasure for you here
If you stumble and you fall
Afraid to lose it all
Don’t be troubled, there’s treasure for you here

In your mind you’re waiting for connection
But you can’t see no mansion on the hill
Be careful that you never lose direction
There will always be a candle on the sill

There will be blue skies when we meet
You’ll be swept right off you feet
Come on darling, treasure for us here
Come on darling, there’s treasure for us here

TROUBLE NO MORE

I was born on high
Big house on a hill
Lands of opportunity
Pockets overfilled
I might be coming down
Where frozen air hangs still
Living here without you
So much worse than morning chill

If I could change direction
Of the sea to the shore
Or had the strength to open up my door
Trouble no more
I'd be in trouble no more
If you could find me Jesus
We’d have trouble no more

Walking high and proud
Trying to walk so tall
In the face of bigger things
A lie can feel so small
Comes a voice so near
Calling one and all
Cause higher up the mountain
We know it's further down to fall

If we could change direction
Of the sea to the shore
Or have the strength to open up that door
Trouble no more
We want trouble no more
If you could find us Jesus
We’d have trouble no more

We could fall this morning
A white house on a hill or
Cardboard houses bound together
Streetlights frozen still
Catch us coming down
We're better than our will
Darkest is the closing hour
Before a life fulfilled

Cause we can't change direction
Of the sea or the shore
Or have the strength to open up that door
Trouble no more
We want trouble no more
If you can find us Jesus
We want trouble no more
Trouble no more
Were finding trouble no more
You finally found us Jesus
We got trouble no more

FAT OF THE LAND

Sitting in an open field
Clouds rolling over the sun
Paper says it's no big deal
Plenty nuff for everyone
But I don't think I'm dreaming
We're going down from where I stand
People getting hungry
Gazing on the fat of the land
But it ain't no miscommunication
From either side
And there ain't no simple place to hide
This is not California
It ain't even Alabam
People getting hungry
Gazing at the fat of the land

I was born down the road
Looking for a place to stand
Looking for a home I own
Papers say I’m not in the plan
But I don't think I'm dreaming
Just looking for a helping hand
People getting hungry
Gazing on the fat of the land
But it ain't no miscommunication
From other sides
And there ain't no simple place to hide
This is not California
It ain't even Alabam
People getting hungry
Gazing at the fat of the land

Sitting in the setting sun
Feeling like a heavy load
Is this all what we began?
Is this all that we can hold?
No I don't think I'm dreaming
We're going down from where I stand
People getting hungry
Gazing on the fat of the land
This is not no miscommunication
From either side
And there ain't no simple place to hide
This is not California
It ain't even Alabam
People getting hungry
Gazing at the fat of the land
I know it…
There’s people getting hungry
Gazing at the fat of the land

TRUE

He was always on the outside
Of whatever side there was
Then an angel from the sky
Bent to kiss his eyes
Roll it away
Roll it away
Roll it away
Roll it away
Cause its true
True
And it's true
So true

Said they read it in the papers
Said they scrawled it on the wall
In this persecuted times
An angel from on high
Roll it away
Roll it away
Roll it away
Roll it away
Because its true
True
And it's true
So true

So our lives are filled with darkness
Only darkness fills the sky
Then an angel from a star
Comes to where we are
Roll it away
Roll it away
Roll it away
Roll it away
Because its true
True
And it's true
All  true

DREAMING

You say you hear the breaking
of a thousand hearts
Well I can hear a thousand beating
On their mark
Am I dreaming? Yes I’m dreaming
And that’s a start

You say you hear the mountains
Coming tumbling down
I can hear the rhythm
of this solid ground
Am I dreaming? Yes I’m dreaming
And that’s a start

Sunday morning
You might wake up on your own
Close your eyes
You’re not alone

Say you hear the shouting
Of a thousand lies
I can hear a gentle voice
From deep inside
Am I dreaming?
Yes I’m dreaming
And that’s a start

And though the skies will darken
Like the English rain
In our hearts
That sun is gonna rise again
Am I dreaming?
Yes I’m dreaming...
Are we dreaming?
Yes we’re dreaming
Are we dreaming?
Keep on dreaming
And that’s the start

BLESSED

Walking up the mountainside
Multitudes against the sky
Want to hear the how and why?
Blessed are the poor at heart
Down before the very start
When they knock the gates will part

Sad songs - Always lived in
Sad songs - Always lived in
Sad songs (So how can you live there?)
We get along

Blessed are the ones who cry
Living on for those who die
Want to hear the how and why?
Blessed are the chosen ones
They don’t have to wait so long
Blessed are the chosen songs

CHORUS

Blessed are the tortured souls
The timid and the merciful
They can bear a heavy load
Blessed is this salted earth
Blessed those that know its worth
We’ve been lighting up the world

Sad songs - Always lived in
Sad songs - Always lived in
Sad songs ( And how can you live there?)
We get along

Blessed are the chosen ones….

FIND A RIVER

Hand me down
Hand me down
Hand me down
My broken crown
See the mighty stumble
Lo they fall
Broken down
I’m broken down
Catch me ‘fore I hit the ground
Lord, we tumble
How the high come tumbling down
And I find a river
And I find a river
To you

Held me down
They held me down
Took what i had
And turned around
See the mighty stumble
Lo they fall
Held me down
They held me down
Catch me ‘fore I hit the ground…
Oh we tumble
How we all come tumbling down
And I find a river
And I find a river
To you

Help me down
Help me down
Help me keep this broken crown
See the mighty stumble
As they fall
Turn me round
Turn me round
Sorry doesn’t make a sound
I can see the trouble coming down
Oh we tumble
How the high come tumbling down

And I’ll find a river
Yes I’ll ind a river
And I’ll find a river
To you

ANOTHER ROAD

Another Road

Where maybe I could see

A better way to go

Another Road

Where maybe I could see

A better way to go

I understand

I understand in my mind

Want to get away

I understand it

But I don’t want to say it

And I don’t want to stay

This is a fine way home

A day

This is a fine way home

Seems like a lifetime

Over and over again

Another Road
Where maybe I could see

A better way to go
Another Road

Where maybe I could see

A better way to go

Over the Western Sky

I fly
Into the moonlit night

Seems like a lifetime

Over and over again

Another Road

Where maybe I could see

A better way to go
Another Road

Where maybe I could see

A better way to go

DREAMTIME

Hush my baby baby don't cry
I'm back to sing us a lullaby
We have melody deep as the sky
Here at the crossroads, time rolling by
Lord it's a long, long while
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Please close our eyes
City lights of fireflies
Will keep us safe tonight

Hush my darling don’t say the word
And we're headed back where we’re understood
We have a melody deep as the wood
Here at the crossroads, all for the good
Lord it's a long, long while
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Please close our eyes
City lights of fireflies
Will keep us safe
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Please close our eyes
City lights of fireflies
Will keep us safe tonight

Hush my baby baby don't weep
A city of angels, the city 's asleep
We have a melody soft and deep
Here at the crossroads or out in the streets
And it's been a long, long while...
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Please close our eyes
City lights of fireflies
Will takes us over
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Come close our eyes
City lights and fireflies
Will keep us safe tonight

LAST TRAIN

Sitting on a train track tryin’ to decide
Should I lie back for the rest of the ride?
Cash my ticket to the other side? Why?
Everybody guessed that I would end this way
Little bit of heaven there’s hell to pay
I can hear the whistle from a mile away Why?

Hello Hello Hello Hello, Hi
Do you know how to cry? Blue Sky
Do you know how to cry? Well I…

Started falling early I was just a kid
Monkey on my shoulder in a takeover bid
He always found me so I never hid Why?
But I remember summer under candy trees
Learning my chords just shooting the breeze
Life can be golden in small degrees Why?

Hello Hello Hello Hello, Hi
Do you know how to cry? Blue Sky
Do you know how to cry/ Can you sigh?
Like the last train coming by?

Wish I had a family in a 50’s home
Faded brown Buick and some rusted chrome
A rusted dog and a rusted bone Why?
I remember summer under candy trees
Learning my chords just shooting the breeze
I can feel the crosstie under my knees Why?

CHORUS
Life is a good kid trying to be bad
Laughing out loud cause his heart is so sad
He could be the best friend that you ever had
Here’s to the summer that never ends
Here’s the last quarter I was meaning to spend
Smoke from the engine coming round the bend
